There’s never a dull moment at kbc, for we always have something exciting and creative on! Presenting yet, another unique contest for a beautiful book that will feel like a warm hug!
That’s Why Dogs Fly by Radhika Malhotra published by Wonder House Books is a heartfelt, beautifully illustrated book about pet love and saying good bye. To celebrate this book, we thought we should do something to celebrate our fur babies too!
So coming to the exciting part – the #kbcWhyDogsFly Contest is on! Over the next 2 weeks we will have FOUR INTERESTING PROMPTS for our kbc members to participate, where 10 creative childoos will have the opportunity to win a copy of Radhika Malhotra’s beautiful book THAT’S WHY DOGS FLY!

PROMPT ONE – Dog Love through an image!
Share a photograph of your favourite scene of you or your child with your fur baby and give it an interesting caption!

PROMPT TWO – Dog Love through a poem
Write an ode to your dog (minimum 6 lines). Be sure to give the poem an interesting title.

PROMPT THREE – Dog Love through Art (for kids only – parents can help)
So please don’t think our contest is only for people who own pets! It’s for everyone!! This one is especially for the dog lovers who don’t have a pet at home! Draw a picture of a dog you would love to have at home! What would you call your new dog? (people with pets can participate too!!)

Criteria for participation: For residents of India only (as shipping abroad is an issue).
Age no bar! Contest is open to both children and parents (we will be specifying as there are different criteria for different prompts). But only one entry per family is allowed per prompt!! (the same family can participate in different prompts)
Judges’ decision is final.
Contest duration across all 4 prompts: Oct 16-30, 2024 (EOD). Entries to each prompt will be open for a a few days only.
