We all are huge Tom Percival fans and most of us have all of his picture books from the BIG BRIGHT FEELINGS series. While quite a few members have read and reviewed the DREAM DEFENDERS series for 7-10/11 years,, we didn’t realise there is another series – an early chapter one called LITTLE LEGENDS for 6-8 years (176 pages). Amardeep discovered this series and Neil is enjoying the one he is reading.

Our members have grabbed some excellent deals during the summer break:

ACTIVITY BOOKS

Activity Books by Dreamland:

Water Magic Princess for 2.5 years +. Bhavneet has this and has shared a review with inside pages here in the fb group. Quoting her:

This amazing activity book can keep your toddlers engaged and immersed for a good amount of time. The book has this beautiful various Princess scenarios which turn to life with just a water pen. The colours of the picture are so vibrant, that it’s almost unbelievable how real the picture looks.

The biggest Pro is that it’s mess free. The water doesn’t spill over the pen. It’s thick plus fun for the toddlers to grasp and hold for longer. This book also has additional activities on the alternate pages.

Asreet has painted all the pictures , finished all the activities on Day 1. Thankfully, this book is to be used again and again, coz once the water dries up, it’s as good as new. Truly magical experience for my little one. A must have for every toddler, a great companion for travel and any visits. Loved this activity to the core!!!”

Velvet art set for 2.5 years+ Anubhuti has shared a review and some sheets in the fb group here. Quoting her: “Velvet art set is such a sensory experience. The picture to be colored is surrounded with the velvet (as a background). N was pleasantly surprised with this change of texture. The set comes with sketch pens. There are different themes ranging from dinos, farm, jungle and unicorn. It makes a good return gift option. An activity that kid can enjoy on their own. It’s a good addition to your collection if kiddo loves colors.”

1500 Mosiac Stickers with Colouring Fun (there are 4 books in this series). Bhavneet has shared inside pages here in the kbc group. She recommends them for 3 years+ as it needs finer motor grip. In her words:

“Since the day we got this book, we can’t keep our hands off it. Sticker books and sticking activities are a different kind of love for my toddler! I feel it really improves concentration and strengthens the finger muscles. Those dot stickers completely transform the picture and she is enjoying this activity with her dad and me! We haven’t got to colouring yet but am sure it will add another dimension of fun to it.”

Dreamland Activity Books for all ages!
Brain Train by Dreamland – Anubhuti has shared a review and some sheets in the fb group here. Quoting her: “Brain Train Activity Book- it is covers variety of topics- alphabet, numbers, drawing, coloring, mazes. Its a great way to introduce varied concepts with one book. There is so much to talk about in this. The illustrations are cute. The solutions are given at the back of the book.

The book is recommended for age 5+ by the publisher (it comes in different levels for different age groups). I feel some activities like tracing and coloring can be done at an earlier age, while we still need to learn addition/ subtraction. Overall it can be for 4+ Age. This book would require you to be present and engaged to guide what needs to be done in different pages.”

Dreamland LOOK AND FIND BOOKS are BESTSELLERS on kbc. Every 3-5 year old child has them!

Unicorn World Activities – I Can Solve Activity Book for Kids Age 4- 8 Years | With Colouring Pages, Mazes, Dot-to-Dots. Prachi has shared inside pages in the fb group here. To quote her:

“This one with all things Unicorn is a great activity book with puzzles, maths, colouring, sudoko. Ishani finished all but 13 pages from this activity book in 2 days!! Yes, it is THAT engaging! I am sharing some pages from the workbook to give an idea about the activities but there are definitely many more.

I really liked how the activities in the book are not repetitive despite the fact that its all Unicorns! 🙂 Simple addition activities are also made so much more fun by adding objects to count, matching activities are not all drawing straight lines from one object to another. If you have a unicorn lover at home, this activitiy book by Dreamland is a must have.”

These have 8 books and one electronic reader. I have gifted this multiple times when we are invited with family. The background sounds make the story narration pretty theatrical. The concept of choosing the book and following the story through buttons printed on each page is simple enough for any young child to understand.”
