High on illustrations and texture, the book ‘The Bird Book’ introduces little ones to the beautiful world of birds. The illustrations are powerful and the birds seem to come to life on every page. Primarily a picture book, each page is accompanied by a short sentence, detailing the picture.
Anika (my 2.10 yr. old) enjoyed spotting the nest, eggs hatching, baby birds, as well as some unique birds like sunbirds, reed warblers. In fact it is a great bonding activity where my elder kid (6.10 yr. old) read the book to Anika. The emphasis is of course on parents to set the context for their kids. The pictures are a great companion in this learning journey.
