This is a cute little book of Devi Durga, how she was created and why she had to fight with Mahishasura and how she defeated him. The story is written in verse and will draw the attention of the little ones easily. The rhyming sentences and the beautiful illustrations will keep them engaged.
The whole story of Durga Puja is written in simplified form and I felt this is the best one to introduce the little ones to Durga Puja. At the end of the book there is an activity given which will be loved by them.
My 3 year old loved the illustrations very much as they are very catchy and explain the story so well. He used to always ask why Durga fought with Mahishasura…. and thanks to this book I could finally satisfy him with the answer.
There are quite a few more books in this MY LITTLE BOOK OF series including:
- My little book of Krishna
- My little book of Lakshmi
- My little book of Ganesha
- My little book of Shiva
- My little book of Hanuman.
