If your kid loves anything to do with future, space, time travel, scientists, cool inventions and robots, then this could be one of their favorites soon… Kripsa Mehta has seamlessly integrated all these aspects, which the young readers crave for, into a light hearted, fantastic and impactful read .
The book is set in the future, the year 2222 where a nine year old adventurous girl called Aashi Mehta and her personal robot Zy take you into a world full of possibilities, imagination and innovation. The book is an inspiration to young girls with strong female characters including Aashi and her mother Taara, a scientist who designed Aashi’s robot Zy – her best friend.
Aashi and her robot ZY are excited to try the rides at the Time Traveler’s Adventure Park and Aashi learns the most important core value that sets her closer to becoming a super human.
There are some very cool gadgets and inventions like the shoe drones, smart shorts and jackets, holograms, time travel machine, etc in the book, that open up a world of imagination in the minds of young readers.
Stavya’s fav part about the book was that Aashi is always accompanied by her best friend Zy, who keeps her in check, helps her, plays with her, she even drew what her robot wouldn’t look like. She was fascinated about all the inventions mentioned in the book (especially the time machine) and said she would want to see herself when she was a little baby!
This book led to lot of positive discussions with my 7 year old daughter Stavya. I was beaming with pride when she asked me about Satyendra Nath Bose and hopped in to read along. Hence I say this is a good read for both kids and parents together.
We discussed about lot of scientists and their theories and inventions around the world, human psychology, feelings and actions, best ways to feel calmer during chaos, great inventions that you think will be in the future and drew our versions of robots and many more..
The book also has some interesting activities which is cherry on the top. Fantastic experience for book lovers.
