Little Shambu lives with his parents and his rescued pup Dum Dum. Shambu’s best friend Shanti lives near by and they go to school together.
The book is set in the future, the year 2222 where a nine year old adventurous girl called Aashi Mehta and her personal robot Zy take you into a world full of possibilities, imagination and innovation.
This is the second book of the series. In these six stories, little Shambu bravely jumps into an angry bear’s den to protect his pet Dum Dum, wisely identifies a rattlesnake, naively saves a bear family from Madaari and adamantly helps a non-venomous snake escape.
The book begins by providing a brief account of JRD Tata’s early life and his journey to establish himself in the world. Jeh, as he was known during his childhood, had parents from different backgrounds – his mother was French and his father was Indian.
The story starts with 11-year-old Samar’s encounter with bad guys while running errands for his mom. A big growly dog comes to his rescue but this turns out to be a gateway to a lot of troubles.
