Happy as a Hog out of Mud by Sean E. Avery for 3-8 years. Payal and Rajveer have this one. In her words, “This book makes Rajveer laugh! It’s about this super sophisticated, mud-disliking hog who is different from other hogs and wants to find a more sophisticated bunch to hang out with.
Won’t give away the end but its a humorous story that touches upon being different and finding where you belong as well as friendship.
This hog’s sophisticated tastes and language are bound to bring a smile to your little one’s faces. The illustrations are quirky and fun as well.
Charlesworth Oinkington is one fancy and memorable warthog because he’s unique for sure.”
Mari’s March by Lavanya Karthik. Quoting Achu: “This book focuses on the migration of elephants in search of water bodies. The story follows the journey of a young elephant named Mari and her herd as they respectfully navigate various challenges in search of food and water during the dry season.”
It Was You, Blue Kangaroo by Emma Chichester Clark recommended by Divya Alamelu for a book on learning to not blame others unnecessarily.

Bad Panda: The Cake Escape for 6-9 years (156 pages). Amardeep has this one and says it’s excellent! There are lots of other books in this BAD PANDA series.
GO MO GO: DINOSAUR RACE! for 5-7 years (96 pages). GO MO GO is a series!
Cluey Louise Treasure Hunt by Lisa Thompson for 5/6-8 years (80 pages). Mona has shared her 6yo’s read aloud and an inside page here in the fb group. She mentions that the font size is bigger so easier to read and the books have black & white illustrations.
