Thanks to KBC we read a lot of books in the past few days and could ultimately make the final list for the thirty books.
The book includes both male and female names of the animals and birds. It then goes on to mention what their babies are called. The various calls of them are also woven into the content along with and the produce each of the farm animals provide us with.
What everyone will love about this story is the simplicity with which the story has been written, from a child’s point of view. What the child felt about his father’s arrest, about the British government and most importantly about Gandhiji – the fact that he was the person who could oppose the British authorities – all are wonderfully described by the author.
